Sustainability and fair conditions are at the heart of Belted Collective.
Our Mandarin Cord Jacket isn't made on a factory assembly line, but by Meiling, a seamstress in Hong Kong we met in January 2026, who has been hand-sewing every single jacket ever since — made to measure, with care, one piece at a time. Our jackets aren't mass-produced by some anonymous supplier; they're the result of a collaboration built on trust. We work exclusively with high-quality corduroy and inner lining made to last.
We started out with handmade chokers, made from materials we found at our local weekly market. Each one crafted entirely by hand, by the two of us.
The idea behind Belted Collective has stayed the same ever since: we'd rather make one piece that's truly needed and loved, than chase meaningless trends.
